25 pitted dates 200 g peanut butter 50 g cashews and walnuts chopped 100 g dark chocolate 100 g milk chocolate 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Arrange the dates tightly in a lined tray.
Spread peanut butter evenly over the dates.
Sprinkle chopped cashews and walnuts on top.
Melt dark and milk chocolate together.
Add 2 tbsp oil and mix until smooth.
Pour chocolate over the mixture and spread evenly.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Cut into bars and serve.
Use soft, fresh dates for a naturally sticky base (soak in warm water for 10 minutes if they are dry).
Press the dates tightly together so the base holds well when cutting.
Let peanut butter sit at room temperature for easier spreading.
Chop nuts finely for better texture and even crunch in every bite.
Don’t skip the oil in melted chocolate—it makes the topping smoother and shinier.
Chill long enough (at least 1 hour) so the bars set properly before cutting.
Use a sharp knife warmed in hot water for clean slices.
Add a pinch of sea salt on top to balance sweetness and enhance chocolate flavor.
