Homemade Churros with Cinnamon Sugar

For the Dough:
- 1 cup milk 200 ml
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour 200 ml cup measurement
- 2 –3 eggs
- Oil for frying
For the Cinnamon Sugar:
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, butter, and sugar. Bring to a gentle boil.
Add the flour all at once and stir quickly until a thick dough forms.
Continue cooking and stirring for 2–3 minutes until the dough pulls away from the sides.
Transfer dough to a bowl and let it cool until warm.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until smooth and pipeable.
Transfer dough into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Pipe strips of dough into hot oil and fry until golden brown, turning for even cooking.
Remove and drain briefly on paper towels.
Mix sugar and cinnamon, then roll warm churros in the mixture.
Serve immediately with melted chocolate sauce.
