  • Potato masher
  • Grater
  • Rolling Pin
  • Non-stick pan

Ingredients

  • 5–6 medium potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g kashar cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1½–2 cups all-purpose flour (add gradually)
  • 100 g butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  • Boil the potatoes until fork-tender. Drain and mash until smooth. Let them cool completely.
  • In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes and egg.
  • Add grated kashar cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and yeast. Mix well.
  • Gradually add flour and knead until you get a soft, non-sticky dough.
  • Divide the dough into equal portions.
  • Roll each portion into a round flat shape on a lightly floured surface.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Cook each flatbread on both sides until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Brush both sides with butter while still warm.
  • Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can substitute kashar cheese with mozzarella.
  • Add flour gradually to avoid a dense dough.
  • Best served warm for a soft and cheesy texture.
