Non-stick pan
- 5–6 medium potatoes
- 1 egg
- 200 g kashar cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1½–2 cups all-purpose flour (add gradually)
- 100 g butter (for greasing)
Boil the potatoes until fork-tender. Drain and mash until smooth. Let them cool completely.
In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes and egg.
Add grated kashar cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and yeast. Mix well.
Gradually add flour and knead until you get a soft, non-sticky dough.
Divide the dough into equal portions.
Roll each portion into a round flat shape on a lightly floured surface.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Cook each flatbread on both sides until golden brown and fully cooked.
Brush both sides with butter while still warm.
Serve warm and enjoy.
- You can substitute kashar cheese with mozzarella.
- Add flour gradually to avoid a dense dough.
- Best served warm for a soft and cheesy texture.
